Ed Wright developed this site to share his love for Mt. LeConte with others.  In a large part, these pages are excerpts from Ed's hiking logs and they tell the story of his relationship with the mountain and the people he met there. 

A memorial hike up Alum Cave Bluff Trail is planned for Sunday, September 5, 2010. Family members will be at the trailhead at 7:00 am.  Anyone who would like to join us is welcome.
